After a concrete batching plant officially begins operations, the maintenance and upkeep of each equipment system becomes particularly crucial, as this directly impacts the proper functioning and overall efficiency of the equipment. To ensure the plant’s continued efficient operation, Kerui will briefly introduce some key points regarding daily maintenance and upkeep.

Cleaning: After the mixer has been operating for a period of time, any remaining mix should be promptly cleaned, along with the agitator shaft, agitator arm, and agitator blades. When manually cleaning, do not use a hammer to remove any remaining mix, as strong impacts can crack the agitator blades.
Lubricating Oil: The gearbox lubricant should be replaced after approximately 50 hours of continuous operation. The lubricant should also be replaced every 1,000 hours or at least every six months. The oil pump should be checked daily to ensure that the lubricant is reaching the shaft head.
Gap Adjustment: If the gap is greater than 8mm, adjust the blade or replace any wearing parts to reduce the gap to 3mm.

During routine inspections, any debris found on the screen should be promptly cleaned to ensure batching accuracy. If the gap between the feed gates is found to be enlarged, it should be adjusted promptly. If the problem persists after adjusting to the limit, welding can be used to correct the gap.

The safety valve should be thoroughly inspected every six months. If dust is found coming out of the pressure safety valve on the top of the cement silo, the valve and surrounding powder should be cleaned immediately to prevent rainwater from agglomerating and affecting the valve’s proper function.

The belt conveyor should be checked daily for centering. If deviation is detected, it should be adjusted promptly to prevent equipment damage. Also, check the rollers and drums for sticky material and clean them promptly. The belt surface should also be regularly inspected for damage. Any damage should be repaired promptly to prevent further problems.

The control room should be cleaned daily to maintain a clean environment. The controller components should also be inspected for loose or malfunctioning components.
In summary, maintenance of concrete batching plant equipment involves multiple aspects. Only by properly maintaining each system can the plant perform at its optimal performance and provide a strong guarantee for the smooth progress of construction.
